Natural Toner—Apple Cider Vinegar
They say apple cider vinegar can help your skin from being too dry or oily, smooth out breakouts, and could help prevent clogged pores. Add 1 part apple cider vinegar with 2 parts water, and shake well then apply to a clean face with a cotton ball or pad. Once your skin dries, put on your usual daily moisturizer!
Naturally Antibacterial—Honey & Lemon
Honey is naturally antibacterial and full of antioxidants, which are shown to prevent acne and slow down your skin’s aging process. At home, mix 2 teaspoons honey and 1 teaspoon fresh lemon juice. Warm it between your fingers, then smooth a thin layer onto your face and neck. Leave the mixture on until it’s dry, then rinse with warm water.
What’s your favourite yogurt to eat? Well, now you can share some with your face! Yogurt can help tighten pores, reduce lines (not that you have any yet), and remove dead cells through exfoliation. Place a thin layer of yogurt over your face and massage softly using fingertips. Leave on for a few minutes then rinse off with a warm towel.
Peppermint & Lemon—yummmm!
Peppermint is great for nourishing and hydrating your skin, and it smells so good with lemon. I like to use a few drops of each in the palm of my hand and rub gently over my face, wait a few minutes then get a warm-to-hot cloth and wipe gently. Feels so good.
