Teens Making A Difference ~ Together, We Made Her~History!
A powerful and innovative event held at the Halifax Central Library, Paul O’Regan Hall hosted by Teens Now Talk, =ITY Society, and Halifax Central Library.
Event Keynote Speaker and facilitator, Jessica Bowden, M.S.M. ~ CEO of Teens Now Talk magazine and Founder of =ITY,(equality) Inspiring Today’s Youth Society, empowered, engaged and inspired over 100 youth, their parents and chaperones to be agents of positive change in their lives and their community.
“The goal is to celebrate African Heritage Month and to show all youth how a single change can and has impacted yesterday, today and tomorrow.,” says Jessica. “I believe in being proactive when I see smoke, no force to react when I see fire,” says Jessica. Today’s youth are putting up S.O.S signal and they need to know people can read the signs.”
