StompOut Shirts at Northern Lights Lantern Festival
by Emily Educator ⋅ August 13, 2018
The Northern Lights Lantern Festival has celebrated North End Halifax, since 2003, held at the popular Merv Sullivan Park aka the Pit to the Northender lol.
The StompOut(C) Teen Team was on site to participate in the activities as well as raise awareness about the StompOut(C) campaign and give-a-way some powerful #StompOutshirts.
Everyone walks in different boots, says Jessica Bowden M.S.M. founder of Teens Now Talk and =ITY Inspiring Today’s Youth Society. Many youth and adults walk alone, suffer alone because of shame, abandonment, fear…. while suffering from the effects of Racism, Stigmatism, Poverty, Bullying, Violence to name a few.
StompOut© initiates change, and empowers & inspires one’s voice. It’s Time to Stand Up and Stomp out those issues that cause people to feel this way! It’s time to put your foot down and say Enough is Enough! CLICK 4 MORE PHOTOS
It’s great seeing people wearing the StompOutshirts at the festival and promoting the powerful issues we need to #StompOut on their chest for all to see says Elain Bundy-Williams Chair of the Mulgrave Park Tenant Association. The StompOut(C) T-Shirt Campaign is not your everyday shirt, with every purchase, part proceeds goes back into the communities. We are excited that our Mulgrave Park Caring & Learning Center is the August recipient with procees, going towards their Back-2-school Back Pack program. Get your StompOut Shirts
