On my first real date, we decided to go blueberry picking. Everything was great. I smiled a lot, chatted up a storm and ate lots of berries, hoping it would hide my nervousness. Later that day I excused myself to use the bathroom and as I passed the mirror, I saw my teeth were all blue and, worse, I had no toothbrush. After trying to get the blue off and having no luck, I ventured back outside too embarrassed to open my mouth. She guessed what was wrong and filled her mouth with lots of blueberries, gave me a big smile and said, “You can never embarrass the one you love.”
