One day I heard the tail end of a story on the radio about a getting out and voting rally. I wanted to make my views heard along with everyone else and created a bright sign to carry. I got there after a two-hour bus ride and the place was empty, just me, the sign, and an older man feeding the birds. I looked at him and said, “Is the rally over?” “You’re two weeks early,” he said. So, I sat there feeding the birds with him while I waited for my bus to go home.
