Dear Diva
I’m 14 and thinking about getting a tattoo, but I don’t know if it’s what I really want or if it’s just that all my friends are getting one. What should I do? Can you help me?

Wanna get tagged, eh!? Well, this is a big decision and, based on your age, you should share this with your parents because you will need consent and a waiver signed. Who knows – they may be down with it. But if they’re not, don’t try and be sly, because most artists and shop owners can tell if the person with you is not your mother or father or legal guardian. My advice is to keep on thinking about it for a few more years. Remember, there’s no tattoo eraser, and surgery to remove them costs a whole lot more than getting them.
